Nuneaton Team News

23 January 2015

PAUL Hurst is hoping to have Lenell John-Lewis, Scott Neilson and Nathan Arnold available for Saturday's Vanarama Conference clash at Nuneaton.

Lenny had to leave the pitch at Gateshead with a head injury and the Mariners had to end the game with just 10 players on the field. He trained today and will assessed by the Town management ahead of the trip to the Midlands. Speaking on Mariners Player, Paul Hurst said:"We are going to assess him today. His mouth was a bit sore and I just want to check on his well being. First and foremost that is the most important thing."

Scott Neilson, who missed that FA Trophy tie at the International stadium through illness, came through today's training session and should be okay to face the Conference strugglers.

Nathan Arnold has also been ill but has also trained today and should be okay.

Carl Magnay is again set to deputise for the absent Aswad Thomas at left-back..
