“Keep it up” is the message from the players and management of the Mariners after supporters helped to create an electric atmosphere last time out at Blundell Park.
This week the club again joined forces with the Grimsby Telegraph to offer a ‘hat-trick’ of great offers for this weekend’s Vanarama Conference game against AFC Telford United.
With a voucher from any of this week’s papers, supporters can claim any of these fantastic offers:
Kids Go Free – available in all stands, and as long as they’re accompanied by a paying adult.
Young Adults £5 – a young adult aged 15-18 can watch the game for just £5, but only in the Pontoon Stand.
Family Ticket £20 – two adults and two children (up to 14 years old) can watch the game for just £20 in the Main Stand.
Speaking to www.gtfc.co.uk about the initiatives, Commercial Assistant Jack Johnson said: “After the success of the last three offers for the Barnet game – and cracking results at Nuneaton and Eastleigh – we wanted to keep the positive vibe going at Blundell Park.”
“In an attempt to intensify the superb atmosphere we had last time, we’ve offered a £5 ‘Young Adult Ticket’ for the Pontoon to try and attract more 15-18 year olds to come along and cheer the Mariners on!”
“They were our ‘12th man’ last time out – we want them to do it again”
Earlier this month it was announced that black and white flags would be allowed in the Pontoon for the rest of the season. If you picked up one of the free flags issued ahead of the Barnet game, make sure you bring them along on Saturday and wave them with pride!
