Grimsby Town 3 - 1 Huddersfield Town

21 July 2015

The Mariners kept their one-hundred percent record going with a comfortable win against Huddersfield Town tonight.

Town took the lead on 13 minutes through Nathan Arnold. After a mistake by Allinson in the visiting goal, Bogle blocked the keeper's clearance and the ball fell nicely for Arnold to side foot home.

And the Mariners doubled their lead on 42 minutes. Town were awarded a free-kick just out side the box. Danny East stepped up and curled a delightful shot past Allinson via a slight deflection.

A superb goal by Omar Bogle made it 3-0 on 64 minutes.

The big striker latched onto a ball from Nathan Arnold, outpaced a defender, before finishing nicely inside the near post.
But there was an instant response from the visitors, as Smith nipped in at the far post to bundle home a cross.

Town are next in action on Wednesday night when we travel to Brigg Town (7.30pm).
