YOUTH player Harry Clifton (17) has signed for the club on professional terms.
The Grimsby lad, who is a central midfielder, has impressed Town boss Paul Hurst during pre-season games against Cleethorpes Town and against Championship side Derby County on Saturday.
Speaking after penning his first pro deal, Town boss Paul said: "When he first came in he fitted in no problem. But it was the second half of last season that, watching the youth team, he started to impress. Â
"He's just very professional and there's no question marks about his temperament. He wants to do well."
Harry has signed a two-year deal with the club.Â
Interviews with Paul Hurst and Harry coming up on Mariners PlayerHD soon.
