Macca Released From Hospital

20 July 2015

JAMES McKeown has been released from hospital after a short stay.

He was admitted on Friday after suffering back pain and breathing problems, which was later diagnosed as Viral Meningitis.

But after a visit from a consultant tonight, Macca was told that he could go home to recover.

The Town stopper is now hoping to recover in time to play some part in the Mariners' pre-season campaign, targeting a return in the home friendly game against Peterborough United on Tuesday week.

Meanwhile, the Mariners have arranged a friendly fixture at Brigg Town on Wednesday night (7.30pm). Paul Hurst has promised that some of his first team will be involved against the Zebras.

Admission will be £5 Adults and £3 Concessions.
