STRIKER Padraig Amond becomes Paul Hurst's sixth summer signing, penning a one year deal with the Mariners.
The 27-year old started out at Irish side Shamrock Rovers and progressed through the schoolboy ranks of the club.
He was promoted to the senior squad for the 2006 season, making his League of Ireland debut as a substitute against Athlone Town on 16 March 2006.
After a spell at Portuguese Primeira Liga side Paços de Ferreira, he moved to England and signed for League 2 side Accrington Stanley. He played in the same side as Toto Nsiala whilst at the Crown Ground.
After leaving Stanley, Amond went on trial with Morecambe and signed for the Shrimps in 2013.
