Shaun Pearson and James Mckeown have both returned to training today.
Shaun Pearson returned to training today after missing the last two friendly games with a rib problem.
The big central defender came through that morning session with no ill-effects and is set to come into contention for a place in the squad to face Notts County on Saturday.
And Paul Hurst is pleased to get the former Boston player back.
He said: "He looks fine. I think he felt better the longer the session went on. He's another one that will be desperate to get back involved.
"Josh (Gowling) and Toto (Nsiala) have done very well and that's certainly an area where the competition is as good as anything.
"I think Shaun will be available, providing he doesn't have a reaction."
And James McKeown is also on the road to recovery after he returned to the training ground today.
James has been sidelined with Viral Meningitis.
The gaffer added: "Macca has turned up today. He had a little stroll around the training ground and he's had a little go on the bike. Tomorrow he'll do a bit of handling, general work - providing he's feeling okay. "
