Boston United v Grimsby Town. Saturday 1st August, Kick-off 3pm.
PAUL Hurst will take his full first team squad back to his old club Boston United for our final pre-season friendly game on Saturday.
James McKeown and Shaun Pearson will undoubtedly receive a warm welcome back to the Jakemans Stadium, whilst the Mariners will be facing former players Dayle Southwell and Scott Garner. Garner is now the club captain at Boston, while Southwell was last season's Vanarama North's second top scorer with 28 goals - one behind Omar Bogle.
We are expecting quite a few Town fans to make the short journey down the A16. Mariners' supporters are advised to enter the Jakemans Stadium via turnstiles 9 & 10. Admission is £8, £4 and £2 for U16's.
Supporters are also advised that The Pilgrim Lounge will be closed to the general public.
How to get to the Jakemans Stadium.
On entering Boston you pass Boston station on your left and then pass the junction with the A16 Spalding Road on your right. Go over the small Haven Bridge and straight along into John Adams Way (dual carriageway), the floodlights of the ground can be clearly seen on the right. Turn right at the next traffic lights, into Main Ridge, then take the next right into York Street.
There is no car parking as such for fans (unless you are a permit holder) at the ground itself. So it is suggested you will need to either park in one of the town centre pay and display car parks or seek street parking.
