TOTO Nsiala has rejoined the club on a one-year deal.
Town boss Paul Hurst has managed to tempt all but two of the players who he had offered deals to at the end of last season.
And Toto is pleased to be back and link up with that successful squad. He said: “I'm pleased to join all the boys again. That's the main thing the boys, the gaffer and obviously the fans as well.”
But the former Everton trainee wasn't entirely happy with his performances last season and says that nerves occasionally got the better of him.
He said: “I'd struggled a bit last season with my nerves and things, playing in front of all those fans and wanting to perform. But I think this season is going to be different and I've got past those nerves. I'm used to to the boys, used to the crowd and the stadium now.
“I want to better myself now and the whole group have to step it up a gear next season.”
Toto says that the Town fans encouraged him to re-sign for the club.
He said: “I went away and tried to turn my phone off but I couldn't do it. When I went back on my phone they were encouraging me to sign again. They are really supporting us and have belief in us.
“I had my ups and downs last season. I don't think the fans or anyone else knew that I wasn't where I wanted to be, performance wise. I didn't perform at my best.
“I'm now looking forward to putting that right.”
