AND now Craig Clay is on board after he signed a one-year deal with the club this morning.
Craig joined Town in the summer of 2014 after a successful trial at the club, bringing energy and bite to the midfield.
Born in Nottingham, Craig came through the youth ranks at Chesterfield and made his debut for the club on 18 September 2010 against Cheltenham Town before scoring a last minute equaliser in a thrilling 5-5 draw against Crewe only weeks later.
After short loan spells at Barrow and Alfreton Town, Craig left Chesterfield in the summer of 2013 and had short spells at York City, Halifax and Worksop before signing for the Mariners.
He made his Town debut as a substitute at Bristol Rovers on the opening day of last season and his first goals for the came later the same month when he scored a brace in the 7-0 victory over Alfreton Town.
