WE are pleased to announce that Birmingham City striker Alex Jones has joined the club on a one month loan deal.
Alex joined the Blues from West Bromwich Albion last summer, on a two-year deal, plus a one-year option, following a successful trial period at the club.
He played in Blues U21s' final two league games of the 2014/15 campaign season against Sheffield United and Barnsley and netted one of the goals in a 2-1 victory over the Tykes.
A product of the Baggies Academy, Jones was a regular for West Brom's development squad side, but did not made a first team appearance for them prior to leaving the Hawthorns.
The 21 year old is said to have good pace and has a high work rate.
Alex is eligible to play against Barrow tonight and is expected to be named in the 16 man squad.
