Crawley Midfielder Joins Town

26 November 2015

WE are pleased to announce the signing of Crawley midfielder Conor Henderson on loan.

He was released by Arsenal in 2013 and joined Hull City in September 2013 and made his Tigers’ debut in a League Cup tie against Huddersfield Town. He finished the season with a loan spell at Stevenage.

An ankle injury sidelined him in January 2015 for the rest of the season. He signed a new six-month contract with the Red Devils in July 2015.

He has represented England at youth level but then switched to Republic of Ireland and has represented them at U-19 level. In March 2011 made his debut appearance for the Irish national Under-21 team, and in 2012, Conor scored for the U21s, in a 4–2 win over Italy (below).

The 23 year old is expected to join James Alabi in Saturday's squad to face Kidderminster Harriers at Blundell Park.

The loan deal is until December 30th.
