NOT every child is lucky enough to receive the gifts they desire at Christmas. You can help by donating a present to a local child in the Grimsby & Cleethorpes area.
Fronted by Sue Mullen, wife of Grimsby Town Football Club Director Lee Mullen, we are co-ordinating with the Grimsby Telegraph to promote a campaign to bring Christmas joy to those who are more unfortunate. This will be Mrs Mullen’s 4th consecutive year raising items for the children of the local community.
The campaign is aimed towards helping children aged 15 & under and we need YOUR help to spread Christmas joy around the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area. You can help achieve this by purchasing an extra gift during your Christmas shopping, and bringing it in to the Grimsby Town Club Shop. These gifts will then be dealt with by Grimsby & Cleethorpes Social Services, who will make sure that your gifts are donated accordingly.
The official launch for the “Donate a Gift” appeal will be Saturday 28th November at 1pm, where the first gifts will be brought into Grimsby Town Football Club, ready to be distributed to children in the Grimsby & Cleethorpes Social Services.
We ask that gifts be suitable for children aged 15 and under, and must possess a current CE label. Please note that no toy guns or toy knives will be accepted. We will be extremely thankful for anything that you can donate.
Let’s all come together and bring Christmas to all those within our local community.
