Tractor Boy Joins Town

25 November 2015

WE are pleased to announce that Ipswich Town striker James Alabi is to join the Mariners on loan until the January transfer window.

He's described as a powerful striker, who moved to Ipswich after a successful trial, following his release from Stoke City.

The striker has experience with Mansfield, Scunthorpe and Forest Green following loan spells, although he never made a senior appearance for the Potters.

James made an instant impact on his debut for Blues though, scoring the third in a 4-1 Capital One Cup extra-time victory over Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium.

He will join up with his Town team-mates on Thursday and is set to go into the squad to face Kidderminster at the weekend. He will be squad number 29.
