Referee Watch - FC Halifax Town

12 October 2015

REFEREE Ian Hussin will officiate the Mariners clash with FC Halifax Town on Tuesday night.

Born in Liverpool, Hussin began refereeing at National League last season, with his first game at this level actually coming at Blundell Park when Town drew 1-1 with Aldershot Town last August.

However, he has been a part of the officiating team at Premier League and Football League level over the last three seasons and has been one of the assistant referees in Manchester United's 3-0 victory over Sunderland, as well as Leicester's 4-2 victory over the Black Cats so far this campaign.

He has officiated seven games so far this season, handing out 4 yellow cards but no reds but gave out 48 yellow cards and five reds in 19 games last campaign.

Hussin will be assisted by linesmen Will Finnie and Paul Newhouse, whilst Iain Turner will act as Fourth Official.

Hussin last took charge of Town earlier in the season, when they beat Aldershot Town 4-1. On that day, two goals from Omar Bogle, as well as Padraig Amond and Nathan Arnold saw the Mariners beat the Shots convincingly.

The official gave out two yellow cards to Aldershot's Charlie Walker and Luke Oliver that day, whilst giving a penalty to Town for Richard Brodie wrestling with Toto Nsiala in the box.
