Torquay Team News

15 October 2015

ANDY Monkhouse has been ruled out of Saturday's Vanarama National League clash at Torquay.

The midfielder fell and injured his shoulder during the first half of the 7-0 win against FC Halifax on Tuesday night. However, Town boss Paul Hurst isn't expecting the former Bristol Rovers man to be out for too long.

Josh Gowling will also miss the trip to Devon after picking up a knee injury at Braintree last weekend.

There is good news for Paul Hurst though, Jon-Paul Pittman returned to training this morning and is said to have "looked sharp". JP has been sidelined with a hamstring strain.

The Town boss also confirmed that striker Ben Tomlinson is set to return to his parent club Barnet after Saturday's game. The player joined the Mariners on a month's loan in September.
