Paul Hurst looks back on the 4-0 thumping of Southport today.
The Mariners' boss agreed that the first goal came against the run of play and came at a good time for his side.
He said: "I don't try and kid people, I totally agree that they were the better team. I was concerned with the way that we had started the game. That goal, an excellent strike from Craig, was at a good time for us.
"Four-nil away from home against a team that had shown quite a bit of improvement - only one loss in six. You can look at the league table and it perhaps looks easy on paper, but I think we've been in this league long enough and been here on a few occasions to know that is not the case. So to come away with the three points, as comfortably as we did, is a good afternoon."
