Wrexham Reaction

22 September 2015

TOWN boss Paul Hurst was delighted with his side's defensive performance after seeing them halt Wrexham's one hundred percent home record.

He said: "A very hard earned point. Give Wrexham credit they are obviously a good side. They play very good football, make the pitch big in possession.

"Credit to my players, I thought we worked hard, kept our discipline and I think we had a few chances ourselves.

I'm not saying we deserved to win the game, but at the same time, you are very rarely going to have more of the ball against that Wrexham side, so it's about keeping your discipline and taking your chances when you can."

The Town boss has also confirmed that midfielder Matt Robinson will be returning to his parent club Luton. He said: Matt's going to go back to Luton, but we thank him for his efforts while he was here.

"With having Craig Clay back and hoping that he can get back to the kind of form he's shown for us in the past, and promising signs with Scott Brown's recovery it would be unfair to ask Matt to stay for any longer."
