MERSEYSIDE official Robert Jones will take charge of Tuesday night's National League clash with Braintree Town at Blundell Park.
Jones is currently in his second season at at this level, beginning his National League career in August 2014 when he was the man in the middle for Forest Green's 1-0 win at Southport.
He has officiated 16 games this season, handing out 57 yellow cards and one red, with Eastleigh's Ben Strevens being given his marching orders in their loss to Forest Green in February.
Paul Brown and Paul Newkhouse will be the assistant referees for the game, whilst Harry Hawkins will be on the sidelines as Fourth Official.
LAST TIME OUT
Jones has officiated two games so far this season and there has yet to be a goal in either of them, so lets hope that isn't an omen for Tuesday night.
He last took charge of the goalless draw with Boreham Wood in February, as the Mariners were frustrated despite dominating the majority of the game.
The only Town fixture that Jones has refereed so far in his short career was the 0-0 draw with Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground in September.
