WEST Yorkshire referee Adrian Holmes will be the man in the middle for the final game of the season at Tranmere Rovers on Saturday (5:30pm).
Considered one of the leading referees in the National League, Holmes has been at this level for three seasons now.
He has handed out 63 yellow cards and five reds in 22 games this season, including two sendings off in his last three games – to former Town and current Lincoln City defender Bradley Wood, as well as Chester's Ryan Astles.
Holmes will be assisted by Natalie Aspinall and Martin Woods, whilst Wade Smith will be the Fourth Official.
LAST TIME OUT
The official was last the man in the middle for a Town game in the 2-0 derby victory over Lincoln City in December, where he sent off the Imps' Luke Waterfall for bringing down Padraig Amond a and denying a clear goalscoring opportunity in the eyes of the referee.
Amond had already given Town the lead before that sending off, and after numerous chances to finish the game off, Nathan Arnold struck ten minutes from time to send Town fans home with a smile on their faces.
