JOSH Gowling will miss our first EFL Cup game in 6 years when we make the journey to Derby County.
Josh picked up a straight red card for a professional foul in our 2-0 victory at home to Morecambe and serves a one match suspension as a result.
Regarding injuries, manager Paul Hurst said in his pre-match press conference that he expects to have the same squad at his disposal as the weekend. "A few lads are certainly tired and stiff this morning", said Hurst. "People can say it's only the first game of the season but it doesn't work like that, you get in a routine of playing lots of games and clearly the lads aren't doing that".
With Zak Mills & Craig Disley missing from the squad on Saturday through injury, it is unlikely either will be fit for the journey to the iPro Stadium. "It's a busy start and it's a big ask of the players, but actual real injuries, we will be in the same position as Saturday" confirmed Hurst.
