Former National League referee Darren Handley will be the man in charge at the weekend.BOLTON referee Darren Handley will officiate the game against Stevenage at Blundell Park on Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Handley was promoted to the Football League for the 2014-15 season after spending six years in the National League and handed out 112 yellow cards and five reds in 32 games last season.
During his time in the National League, he took charge of Town on a number of occasions, with the most memorable game being the 1-1 draw against Lincoln City on New Years 2014, where both teams were reduced to ten men and seven players were booked in a heated derby fixture at Blundell Park.
This campaign has seen him dish out 18 yellow cards but no sendings off in four games so far, with Doncaster Rovers' 1-0 victory over Cambridge United in League Two last weekend the last game he officiated
Handley will be assisted by Alan Clayton and Ian Smedley, with Garreth Rhodes acting as fourth official.
