A disappointed Town boss gave his reaction to Town's late, late defeat at Wycombe today. He said: "In the end it was disappointment.
"I didn't think it was a particularly good game. Certainly first half, I though it was lacking in a lot of quality. We never passed the ball and any moments of pressure were created by people chasing hopeful balls.
"Second half, we went a goal down to probably the first bit of quality in the game, and then started to play. We then looked a dangerous team.
"We got our equaliser, which I thought was deserved, To concede so late in the game, in that manner.
It's a long throw, we know it's difficult to defend, but we had chance to clear it off the line, but we just stood and watched. That's ultimately cost us."
The Town boss says that the defeat highlights the need the strengthen his squad before the transfer window slams shut in a couple of weeks time.
He added: "I think today only emphasised what I've got in my mind about what we need. That will be a conversation that I will probably have with people at the football club.
"I've made no secret that I'd like to bring a couple more in, and that still remains the case. I think there's elements today that have just highlighted one or two things that were probably on my mind. If we are going to compete week-in-week-out, then that's something I've got to try to bring to the squad.
