An experienced official, with this campaign marking his fourteenth at this level, Mr Miller handed out 82 yellow cards and and three reds last season.
He has taken charge of the Mariners on a number of occasions in the past, with the last of those being the 2-0 victory over Barnet at Blundell Park in May 2010.
Miller's last league fixture saw him officiate Plymouth's 1-0 win at Blackpool, where he sent off Tangerines midfielder Jack Payne for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. Ths was his second red card of the season after sending off Coventry's Jordan Turnbull for a similar offence in their defeat to Bradford City, whilst he has also cautioned 6 players in his nine games so far.
The referee will be assisted by Marc Wilson, Natalie Aspinall and Fourth Official Joe Simpson for the game at Meadow Lane.
