GRIMSBY Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of striker, Shaun Tuton on loan from Barnsley until the end of the season.
Shaun has represented clubs in the lower leagues such as Matlock Town and Buxton before moving to National League side, Halifax Town in 2015. His performances in the first half of the season caught the eye of a number of Football League clubs, with the 24-year-old striker opting to join Barnsley on deadline day in the 15/16 winter transfer window.
During his time at Halifax Town his performances were likened to that of Jamie Vardy, who himself represented Halifax Town before making his monumental rise to the Premier League.
Shaun will link up with fellow Barnsley loanee Kayden Jackson, who joined the club earlier in the summer. The striker will be available for selection by manager, Paul Hurst for this Saturday's trip to Notts County.
