TOWN striker Omar Bogle has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month Award for November.
The frontman scored all but two of the Mariners' goals for the month. And it was the variety of Bogle’s seven in four games which really stood out. A tap-in, a flicked header, one-on-one finishes and even a 30-yard stunner into the top corner against Crawley.
The other nominees are:
Jordan Houghton (Doncaster Rovers) - midfielder
The 21-year-old Chelsea loanee has become indispensable in a deep-lying midfield role. Strong in the tackle, he has the vision and a stunning array of passes to find teammates. His goal against Orient showed that he can finish, too.
Aaron Pierre (Wycombe Wanderers) – central defender
A strong physical presence at the heart of a Wycombe defence which kept three clean sheets in four games, the 23-year-old found time to make a telling contribution at the other end with two assists and a late winner at Cambridge.
Charlie Wyke (Carlisle United) - striker
His first-ever Sky Bet EFL hat-trick - against Mansfield – was part of a six-goal haul from four games and included two headers for a player who comes alive in the box. As well as his goals, his improved link-up play has also impressed.
