Clark In Charge Against Rovers - Referee Watch

NORTHUMBERLAND official Richard Clark will take charge of the lunchtime clash with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

Clark was promoted to EFL level in 2012 after two seasons at National League level, and he took charge of a number of Town games during that spll.

He has officiated the Mariners already this season, taking charge of boss Marcus Bignot's first official game n the 4-2 defeat to Sheffield United in the Checkatrade Trophy at Blundell Park.

So far this season, he has handed out 33 yellow cards and 2 reds in 11 games, with the two reds coming in his last two fixtures. Those were to Accrington Stanley's Mark Hughes in their defeat at Hartlepool United, and to FC Halifax Town and former Town defender Scott Garner in their FA Cup defeat to Eastleigh.

Clark will be assisted by Billy Khatib and Barry Jordan, with Marc Edwards the fourth official.
