YOUNG midfielder Harry Clifton has signed for Evo-Stik League Northern Premier side Grantham Town until the end of the season.
Following permission from the FA, Harry will now stay with The Gingerbreads on a youth loan.
Their manager Adam Stevens commented "I'm obviously delighted, Harry has been a great asset for us. When we heard that we had a glimmer of a chance of him staying we had to jump on it. I have to thank Grimsby, Pat and the FA"
Harry joined the club in September, making his debut against Warrington Town. He has since made 21 appearances, scoring 3 times for the Gingerbreads.
The youngster had signed his first pro deal with the Mariners last season.Â
