Referee Watch - Boreham Wood

11 February 2016

REFEREE Robert Jones will take charge of Town's game against Boreham Wood at Blundell Park on Saturday.

The official is currently in his second season at National League level, having begun last season and has officiated 13 games so far this campaign.

In those games, he has handed out 38 yellow cards but no reds, whilst he refereed the same amount of games in the whole of his debut season, giving out 40 yellows and then sending off two.

He will be assisted by Paul Brown and Rebecca Welch, whilst Duncan Carratt has been appointed Fourth Official.

LAST TIME OUT

The only Town game that Jones has refereed so far in his career is the goalless draw with Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground in October.

A spirited defensive display from Town that day saw them come away with a good away point, and the official was in charge of no real incidents of note in that game.
