REFEREE John Brooks will take charge of Town's trip to FC Halifax Town on Saturday afternoon.
Brooks is a part of the Select Group of referees, meaning that he can officiate matches at Premier League and Football League level, whilst he also joined the FIFA International Referees List as an assistant referee earlier this year.
So far this season, he has handed out 29 yellow cards but no sendings off in 14 National League games, whilst he issued 67 yellows and three reds in 16 games in 2014/15.
The Leicestershire based official was famously filmed asking Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott to thank the City fans after he ran the line in an FA Cup tie against Arsenal in January 2013.
He will be assisted by James Madine and Stuart Richardson, whilst Barry Lamb will act as Fourth Official.
LAST TIME OUT
Brooks last took charge of Town in the 1-0 defeat to league leaders Cheltenham on 30th October, where after perhaps being the better side throughout, Town were hit with a sucker punch by Robins defender Aaron Downes.
He also officiated the 2-1 defeat at Altrincham in August, where a controversial first goal was given to the home side, in a game that eventually turned out to be Town's first loss of the season.
