Paul Hurst was delighted to see his side finally beat  Altrincham and he was pleased to see his side add five goals to their goal tally.

He said: "Nice to put that one to bed. Good victory. Good for our goal difference. It's a long way to go but you never know if that could come in handy as well. Without playing particularly, brilliant. In some ways I see that as a positive, to win five-nil and not be totally happy".

And the Town boss isn't hopeful of seeing Gregor Robertson in action at Gateshead next week. The Town defender hobbled off in the 22nd minute of the win against The Robins.

Paul said: 'It's certainly not as bad as first thought. If I was a betting man I wouldn't say he would be available next Saturday"

Where are Scott Brown and Jack Mackreth with their proposed moves away from the club?

Paul added, "Both have interest in them. In Scott's case, I think it's nudged forward a bit, but until anything is done, you're never quite sure, but it has certainly moved closer."
