Podge had set himself a scoring target for the season but says that he won't divulge it until he reaches that milestone.
He said: "I had a target and I'll tell you all when I get there, but I'm not there yet.
"I'm just looking at scoring the next goal. At the moment everything is going in for me and that's really, really positive. But you never know what is going to happen.
"I could go 10 games without scoring a goal. It's nice to get all the plaudits at the minute but the most important thing is that the team are winning."
Despite currently being one of the most prolific strikers in English football, and with calls for him to be called up for the Republic of Ireland, Padraig isn't expecting a phone call from Martin O'Neill anytime soon!
He said: "I don't take the messages seriously but it's a lovely sentiment from the fans to even mention stuff like me being 'called up'.
