Welling Team News

7 January 2016

PAUL Hurst has a fully fit squad to choose from for Saturday's trip to Welling United.

Gregor Robertson is set to continue on the left side of the Town defence after Conor Townsend's departure to Scunthorpe United.

The Town coaching staff are continuing to manage Josh Gowling (knee) and Andy Monkhouse (Achilles) on a weekly basis.  Both players have niggling injuries.

Paul Hurst may decide to hand Conor Henderson his full league debut against The Wings.  The former Arsenal midfielder signed a deal with the Mariners until the end of the season earlier this week.

The Town boss is not expecting any further signings before Saturday's game.

The Wings currently find themselves third-bottom of the National League and have only won six games so far this season (four at home).

Despite the south having it's fair share of rain recently, the forecast for Saturday is better. The Kent club say that the surface water that they had this morning has now gone and the pitch is looking okay.
