ARSENAL manager Arsène Wenger believed that Conor Henderson would be good enough to be a regular in the Gunner’s first team one day.
Henderson, who started out as a youngster at the Emirates, impressed the Arsenal boss on his senior debut against Leyton Orient back in 2011.
Speaking to www.arsenal.com, Wenger said at the time: “I expect him to be a future player of the first team here.
“You could see technically and physically he is at the level of Arsenal Football Club.
“He is a boy who has been out for a long time with a cruciate [injury]. I have taken him to a pre-season camp and he had done extremely well. Unfortunately he got injured but he is now coming back.”
