GRIMSBY Town Commercial Manager Dave Smith is to embark on a gruelling 1,000 mile bike ride to raise money for the club's youth.
Over 12 gruelling days, the former Mariners winger will cycling from the most south-westerly point of England at Land’s End, along the Welsh border, the Lake District and the Highlands to reach John O’Groats in the Scottish Highlands.
The 1,000 mile ride is being completed in aid of the GTFC Development Association, raising funds to unearth your future Town heroes by helping to support the club’s School of Excellence and youth teams.
The ride will take place in August and you can make donations now by visiting http://www.extra-gtfc.co.uk/supportdave.
We also have custom silicon wristbands available for purchase, with all revenue raised going towards Dave's total. These can be purchased from the Blundell Park club shop, or over on our eBay page.
