FORWARD Ashley Chambers is the latest player to join the Mariners, signing a one-year deal with the club.
The 26 year old started out at Leicester City, making his first team debut in 2005 at the age of 15 in a League Cup, becoming the Foxes youngest player in history.
In 2009 he joined League One outfit Wycombe Wanderers on loan. This was followed by a loan period with the Mariners where he made two appearances and scored two goals.
He then moved to Conference Premier side York City on loan in November 2010 before signing permanently in 2011.
Success followed and he helped the Minstermen to an FA Trophy win and promotion to the Football League via the play offs.
Chambers joined Conference Premier side Cambridge United in 2014.
Next was a loan move to League 2 side Dagenham & Redbridge, before later making the move permanent to Victoria Road.
