WE are pleased to announce that that former Hartlepool defender Dan Jones has signed on a one-year deal.
He's a product of Hartlepool United's youth system, having previously been at Sunderland's Academy for four years.
Dan made his first-team debut for Pools in March 2014, as a substitute.
Upon new Hartlepool manager Ronnie Moore's arrival at the club, Jones began to get a lot more games in defence alongside and became a valuable member of the team and helped Hartlepool to avoid relegation from League Two.
The 21-year-old becomes Paul Hurst's second signing in two days, and we are expecting at least one more today.
