Referee Watch - Bognor Regis SF

SIMON Hooper of Wiltshire will take charge of Saturday's FA Trophy semi final first leg tie against Bognor Regis. 

The former Swindon Town centre-forward was released by the Robins as a 16-year-old following seven years at the County Ground and soon switched his attentions to becoming a referee.

After learning his trade in the Hellenic League, Southern League and Conference Premier he ran the line in the Football League in 2006.

A keen sportsman - Hooper represented Wiltshire at tennis and athletics as a youngster – he is now in his eighth season as a Football League referee. 

In 34 games this season, he has dished out 84 Yellow Cards and 2 Reds.

He will be assisted by Adrian Tranter, Louis Marks, and the Fourth Official will be Andrew Laver.
