REFEREE Simon Bennett will be the man in the middle for the televised clash with Forest Green on Friday night.
The Staffordshire official is part of the Select Group of referees, which means he is able to take charge at Premier League and Football League level.
He has been an assistant referee at a number of games at the highest level so far this season and ran the line in the FA Cup Final when Arsenal and Aston Villa met last May.
So far this season, he has handed out 32 yellow cards and three reds, with one of those being Town's Josh Gowling at Sincil Bank against Lincoln City earlier in the season after an off the ball incident with Imps striker Matt Rhead.
Bennett will be assisted by Kevin Howick and Daniel Middleton, whilst Timothy Wood earlier in the season.
LAST TIME OUT
Bennett has officiated Town on three occasions so far this season, with the last of those being a 1-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers at Blundell Park in November.
Town fans will be familiar with Bennett for the aforementioned 1-1 draw with Lincoln City in September, whilst the other game he took charge of was the 4-0 FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round success at Harrogate Town the following month.
