REFEREE Ryan Johnson will take charge of the National League clash with Southport on Tuesday night at Blundell Park.
The Bolton based official has refereed at National League level for two seasons now, having been promoted in September 2014.
He handed out 54 yellow cards and eight red cards last season, whilst he has given out 40 yellows and four reds in 14 games this time around.
Johnson is regularly the man in the middle during Barclays U21 Premier League matches, whilst he has also been an assistant referee at Football League level.
His assistants for the game will be Ian Johnson and Martyn Rawcliffe, whilst the Fourth Official will be Mark Powell.
LAST TIME OUT
Johnson last took charge of Town in the 4-0 FA Cup Third Qualifying Round win against St Albans City back in November, but his last league game was the reverse fixture between the Mariners and Southport at Haig Avenue in September.
The Mariners stormed to a 3-0 lead before the break in that game through goals from Craig Clay, Craig Disley and Jon Paul-Pittman before Josh Gowling scored the only other goal of the game just after the interval to give Town a comfortable 4-0 win.
The official also handed out a red card to Southport midfielder Gary Jones in the last minute for what was considered violent conduct.
