OUR Youth team were invited to St Georges Park this week and got to train on the same pitch that the England national side uses.
Alan Lamb's boys were being put through their paces as part of some mock UEFA A Licence courses.
Speaking of the day, Alan said: “We were asked to attend and be part of the sessions
“Obviously non of the lads have been there before so it was a good experience for them
“The facilities were like you would expect really – fantastic.
“We played on the indoor 3G pitch, the pitch that all the national teams use.
“You also get your big Premiership clubs there and Newcastle United were there to do a bit of light training.
“All in all, it was a great day and a great experience for the boys.”
