ANDY Monkhouse is doubtful for Town's trip to Wembley on Sunday against Forest Green Rovers. The experienced winger missed the Mariners' 2-0 victory away vs. Braintree on Sunday and is struggling with a knee injury. Evan Horwood was also missing on Sunday, but has trained today and will be assessed over the weekend.

With regards his team selection for Sunday, Manager Paul Hurst is keeping his cards close to his chest. He has also admitted that he does not yet know his team to take the field on Sunday.

The Mariners will leave Grimsby on Friday morning from Blundell Park, but the squad can not wait to head to the capital. "In some ways we're ready to go now", Hurst said. "It's nice to have a trip to London tomorrow and visit the stadium". Despite leaving early, Hurst has emphasised the importance of being prepared for the game. "We'll enjoy those days", Hurst said. But its important that we're ready at 4pm on Sunday".
