LEICESTERSHIRE official John Brooks has been confirmed as the man in the middle for the first leg of the National League Play-Off Semi-Final against Braintree Town at Blundell Park on Thursday night.
A fairly familiar figure to Town fans recently, the referee dished out 43 yellow cards in 20 National League games during the regular season but didn't send one player off during that time.
Brooks will be assisted by Paul Newhouse and Mark Cunliffe, whilst Ian Hussin has been appointed Fourth Official.
LAST TIME OUT
Brooks' last game was the 1-1 draw between Town and Dover Athletic at the Crabble Ground only three weeks ago. He gave Town the chance to take the lead from the spot early on, and Omar Bogle converted before a second half equaliser from Jack Parkinson.
He also took charge of the club's games at home to Altrincham and away at Cheltenham and FC Halifax Town over the course of the season.
