GRIMSBY Town fans will get a chance to pay their respects to former player Paul Futcher ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League Two game at Crawley. The West Sussex club have agreed to do a minutes silence ahead of kick off for Paul, who sadly passed away recently. Â
Paul made well over 100 appearances for the Mariners between 1991 and 1994 having been signed by Alan Buckley from Halifax Town for £10,000 at the age of 34.
Originally brought in as a replacement for Andy Tillson, he went on to become a firm favourite with the fans, winning the Supporters' Player of the Year award twice.
