Board Won't Rush Into Appointing A Manager

24 October 2016

THE Grimsby Town Board won't rush into appointing a new manager and reports that the club are looking to make a 'swift' appointment are pure speculation.

Media reports also suggest that the Town Board of Directors have already drawn up a short-list. This is also far off the mark and the club do not have any preferred candidates at this time.

The club will not be giving any running commentary to the media on the process of appointing a new manager, instead will be carrying out due diligence in the search for a successor to Paul Hurst.

Dave Moore will remain as the caretaker manager until that successor can be sought.
