LEICESTERSHIRE referee John Brooks will be the man in the middle for the long trip down to Exeter City on Saturday afternoon.
This is Brooks' first season at EFL level after promotion from the National League at the end of the last season, and he has started the campaign by handing out 51 yellow cards and three reds in the 11 games he has taken charge of so far.
His history in the National League means he has been a very familiar figure to Mariners fans over the past couple of seasons, and he last took charge of the 1-0 home defeat to Braintree Town in the first leg of the play-off semi final last campaign.
As well as that game, he also officiated several others including the 2-1 defeat at Altrincham last September and the 1-0 loss to Cheltenham Town in front of the BT Sport cameras at Blundell Park the following month.
The last league game he took charge of was Shrewsbury Town's 1-1 draw with Swindon Town in League One last weekend, where the home side's Gary Deegan was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Brooks will be assisted by Richard Hulme and Mark Pottage, whilst the Fourth Official will be Christopher Wade for the game at St James Park.
