Leicester Team News

3 October 2016

The latest team news ahead of Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy tie.

STRIKER Omar Bogle is set to miss Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy tie against Leicester City Under 21s through illness. Sky Bet League Two's top marksman didn't train on Monday and Town boss Paul Hurst says that he is likely to miss out.

Ashley Chambers is set for at least a couple of weeks on the sidelines after he was stretchered off on Saturday with a nasty cut to his thigh. The Town frontman is expected to be released from hospital today having had the wound stapled.

Town boss Paul Hurst reports that there are no other definite injuries, although a few of his players have niggling problems, niggles that he doesn't want to turn into anything more. He will look at those before naming his squad to face Leicester tomorrow night.

Sean McAllister is not quite ready for a return to action just yet. Paul Hurst is hoping that the former Scunthorpe midfielder will return to training later this week, with a look at a return to competitive action in next week's reserves fixture against York City.

Tickets for Tuesday's game are just £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and just £1 for juniors.
