WE would like to thank Ramsdens for their continued support for the club's Youth academy.
Town’s Academy Operations Manager Adam Smith accepted a cheque for £1,170 from Ramsdens managing director David Christy this week, as sponsorship for the year.
Speaking to gtfc.co.uk, Adam said: "We're going to get the funding this year from the Premier League which will hopefully help to run the core of the programme.
"But businesses like Ramsdens that are still prepared to support the town's youngsters helps add value to what we're doing.
"It helps us make our system not just a Category Three system, but one of the best Category Three systems around.
"The guys at Ramsdens have been very good supporters of the academy over the recent years, and they're always trying to make a donation, particularly when the football club were non-league."
