NORTHUMBERLAND official Richard Clark will be in charge of Saturday afternoon's clash with Coventry City at Blundell Park.
Mr Clark has been an EFL referee since 2012 and will take charge of his first game of the season when the Mariners welcome the Sky Blues.
He handed out 76 yellow cards and three reds in 26 games last season, officiating Town on two separate occasions.
The most notable of those was the 1-0 defeat to Doncaster Rovers in December when an early Liam Mandeville free kick settled the game, while he was also the man in the middle for the 4-2 defeat to Sheffield United in the Checkatrade Trophy the month before.
Clark will be assisted by Ken Haycock, David Plowright and fourth official Matthew McGrath.
