LANCASHIRE official Scott Oldham will be in charge for the trip to Stevenage on Saturday afternoon.
Mr Oldham is one of the EFL's six new referees, having been promoted from the National League after only one season at this level and will take charge of Town for the first time.
A self employed joiner away football, he handed out 49 yellow cards in 18 games last season without sending a single player off.
He began this season by refereeing Cheltenham Town's 1-0 victory over Crawley Town and was also in charge for Notts County's 2-1 success over Everton U23 in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night.
Oldham will be assisted by Andrew Aylott, Christopher Wade and fourth official Kevin Howick for the clash at the Lamex Stadium.
